So, during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (PMEF), commented on the accusations against metallurgists, which he had previously reproached to the “fattening” of the state for about 100 billion rubles. According to Belousov, you need to stabilize metal prices. “There is a task to fit state programs and obscalog programs. Because besides the state budgets there is a housing construction program, there is a Russian Railways program” – he said.

Vice-Prime Minister also clarified that it is only about ferrous metallurgy. Belousov stressed that the tax decision is technologically simple. “Pick money, and then subsidize those who have a rise in price,” he explained.

Previously, Belousov said that from the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, metallurgical companies have increased the income “at times” – thanks to the increase in prices in world and domestic markets. The received means of metallurgists must return to the budget in the form of tax, he noted.

After that, the head of the Ministry of Industry and Technical University Denis Manturov decided to assemble a meeting with the owners of Russian metallurgical companies to discuss the rise in prices for public projects.
