Pollutant dismissed Greenpeace for a bold parody

Environmental organization Greenpeace (Greenpeace) was abandoned due to an advertising campaign with a bold parody on the Australian Energy Giant Agl Energy. The largest producer of electricity and the pollutant of the nature of Australia dismissed activists for riding her logo, writes The Guardian.

AGL, which produces electricity using thermal energy, natural gas, fossil coal, and also partly from the energy of the Sun and Wind, defends their interests in court. The company accuses Greenpeace’s Eco -activists in violation of copyright and to the damage to the brand reputation due to the use of the logo in online advertising with the Slogan “AGL is the greatest responsibility of Australia.”

The representatives of Greenpeace emphasize that their share was going to designate the impressive contribution of AGL into the destruction of the climate of the country. The use of someone else’s logo, according to public workers, is placed in the framework of the law, as presented in the form of satire and parody, which should push the largest pollutant of Australia on the development of renewable energy sources and a complete rejection of coal by 2030.

“We consider them temporary villains. The purpose of advertising is to force AGL to close coal power plants and become a leader in renewable energy sources. We are pleased to celebrate their achievements when they are, and do not intend to destroy the organization,” explained the participant of the advertising campaign ” Greenpeace “Glenn Walker.

Australia’s regulating authority on “clean” energy confirms that AGL is a leader in air pollution in the country – the company accounts for eight percent of the total volume of greenhouse gas emissions.

From coal mines and power plants, the whole world gradually refuses to enjoy eco-friendly renewable energy sources. In 2020, other Eco -activists have made the latter’s closure in England, which worked for about 200 years, at the end of May 2021 the European Union Court decided to stop the prey of coal on the border of Poland and the Czech Republic due to the threat of climate and the population of nearby cities.
