Earlier on the same day it became known that in Japan, after a collision, the Russian fishing vessel “Amur” was detained as a collateral of the injured party.
Russian Consul said that the Russian merchant ship “Amur” will leave the Japanese port if the authorities of Japan have not nominate accusations due to the incident in the Sea of Okhotsk.
On May 26, the Russian trade ship “Amur” and the Japanese fishing vessel “Dai Hati Hokko-Maru” collided off the coast of Hokkaido. As a result of five Japanese sailors, the Russian crew saved, three wounded died.
