New President of Israel

The Parliament of Israel voted for the candidacy of the new president of the country, Izhak Duke was elected for the post. About it reports The Times of Israel.

Duke supported 87 of 120 deputies of Knesset, Benjamin Netanyahu Prime Minister announced his victory. In this post, the duke will change the Reelen Rivlin.

It is noted that this is the first President of Israel, whose father also occupied this position: Duke – Son of Israel’s President from 1983 to 1993.

Earlier it was reported that in the Jewish state for the first time in 12 years the government can be formed without the Prime Minister of Benjamin Netanyahu: his political competitors are trying to create a coalition without the largest party “Likud”, which is headed by Prime Minister. If they fail to form a government, the country is waiting for fifth elections to parliament over the past two years.
