“We live today in the competition between large powers – the United States, Russia and China. We, Europeans must have a measure of sovereignty, so as not to become a ball for playing in this competition of big powers,” said Mas.
The diplomat stressed that in the future the responsibility of Europe will be especially great, and therefore it is necessary to defend their independence and a multidirectional policy.
The interests of the United States, Russia and Germany faced against the background of the construction of the Russian gas pipeline “Northern Stream-2”.
