Available Desktop Release Regolith 1.6 Developed by the developers of the eponymous Distribution Linux . Regolith is based on GNOME session management technologies and a window manager i3 . The project is positioned as a modern desktop environment developed for faster execution of typical operations due to workflow optimizations and eliminating excess disorder. The goal is to provide a functional, but minimalist interface that can be configured and expanding depending on the user’s preferences. Regolith may be of interest to beginners who are accustomed to traditional window systems, but those who want to try the methods of frame (mosaic) layout of windows.

- resumed Formation of ready-made boot ISO images with new versions of Regolith.
- Added a new look “Midnight” with different fonts, icons and the GTK-theme.
- Added new bright decoration of Solarized Light.
- A new i3xrocks-App-Launcher indicator is proposed for calling the application launch interface and switch between RFI windows from the panel. The indicator is designed for users who are used to using the mouse to launch applications.
- i3-Gaps updated to version 4.18.2, and rofi to version 1.6.1.
