Biden wanted a stable relationship with Russia

US President Joe Biden stated that he wants stable and predictable relations with Russia. This is stated in the article of the American leader, published in The Washington Post.

According to politics, the United States is not looking for conflict. “We want stable and predictable relations, within which we could work with Russia on issues such as strategic stability and control of arms,” he said.

Biden added that in this regard, he decided to extend the measures to further reduce and restrict strategic offensive armaments (DSNV, an unofficial name – START-3) for five years.

Earlier, the White House shared expectations from the meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Joe Bayden. In particular, the United States does not count that the summit will help solve all problems and challenges in the relations of two countries. At the same time, the American side examines the meeting as an opportunity to discuss areas where countries have joint interests, and “topics where we have concern.”

Meeting of the Presidents of Russia and the United States will be held on June 16 in Geneva.
