First Deputy Prime Minister Andrey Belousov re-criticized the Russian metallurgical industry and reproached its representatives in greed. It is reported by “Moscow Komsomolets”.
Belousov remained dissatisfied with the fact that representatives of metallurgical companies complained about increasing mineral mining (NPPI). “They arranged some screams because of several tens of billions of rubles, with your height EBITDA and income,” summed up one phrase of Belousov.
During communication with the participants of the youth Forum within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (PMEF), the Deputy Prime Minister said that during the Pandemic period, the Russian authorities were allocated for about 4 trillion rubles to support the economy. Nevertheless, the government did not try to compensate for the cost of the riching metallurgical industry.
He stressed that the money to help other branches of government was taken from banks in the form of borrowing.
Russian President Vladimir Putin asked the metallurgists not to be offended by the words about “fattening” of the state. The president called the “obvious” change in the market conjuncture, so that this industry began to receive excess.
On June 2, Belousov during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (PMEF) commented on the accusations of metallurgists, which he had previously reproached to the “fattening” of the state about 100 billion rubles. The first deputy prime minister noted that the tasks to take away money from metallurgists.
Previously, Belousov said that from the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, metallurgical companies have increased the income “at times” – thanks to the increase in prices in world and domestic markets. The received means of metallurgists must return to the budget in the form of tax, he noted.
