United States refused another weapon against Russia

US Navy (Navy) Using the draft budget for 2022 fiscal year refused to develop another weapon – Hyper-Velocity Projectile (HVP), reports The Drive.

In particular, the document claims that the Navy “stopped research and development of managed shells”. As a result of a similar solution, 5.9 million dollars of budget funds should be released. The publication assumes that in the future work on HVP will be resumed.

In September 2020, a video of American exercises appeared on the network, on which the 155-millimeter Artillery Installation Advanced Gun System (AGS), placed on the M110 Howitzer self-propelled warmness, intercepted the air target of the BQM-167 Skeeter, imitating the Russian-winged rocket. A HVP has been used as a cannon projectile capable of developing hypersonic speed.

In June 2021, The Drive reported that the US Defense did not find money to support the development of Strategic Long Range Cannon’s strategic superproof superproof (SLRC), which could hit Moscow from the North Sea.
