Russia introduced a temporary ban on the export of buckwheat until August 31, 2021. The relevant decision was signed by Prime Minister of Russia Mikhail Mishoustin on April 30, reports TASS.
It is noted that measures do not apply to goods exported from Russia to provide international humanitarian aid and as applicants, as well as for Russian military bases abroad and Russian organizations in Baikonur and Svalbard. Also, the prohibition will not affect transit goods moved through the territory of Russia, or goods sent from one part of Russia to another through the territories of other countries.

With a proposal for the ban of the export of buckwheat earlier, the Ministry of Agriculture was performed.
