Chancellor of Austria thanked Putin for “satellite V”

Chancellor of Austria Sebastian Kurtz during the PMEF-2021 plenary session thanked Vladimir Putin’s president for active fight against the COVID-19 Pandemic and the Russian Satellite Vaccine. His words report RIA Novosti.

Kurtz noted that it is possible to overcome the pandemic to the joint efforts of all countries. In his opinion, geopolitical differences should not play roles in vaccination issues. “Every success in the fight against Coronavirus is the success of the whole world,” he added.

“I am very glad that” satellite V “is already presented in more than 60 countries. I would like to thank you, Mr. President Putin, for initiatives in this area,” concluded Kurtz.

In March, the Austrian Chancellor called on the European Medicine Agency (EMA) to the speedy tolerance of the Russian vaccine to the European market. Kurtz also stated that it would be ready to be introduced by the Russian vaccine and the Chinese drug, if they are approved in the EU countries.

Earlier another European country, Serbia, spoke about the role of “satellite V” in relations with Russia. The head of the Intergovernmental Committee of Serbia on Cooperation with Russia, Nadd Popovich, said that the production of the Russian vaccine from COVID-19 in the Serbian territory proves the excellent level of relations between Moscow and Belgrade.
