In Belarus, a suspect in arson of the door of the Mogilev Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was detained. This was reported on June 15 by the Investigation Committee, Interfax – West reports.

“During the interrogation, he explained that the crime was influenced by destructive Telegram channels. A young man is registered with a psychiatrist. For a previously perfect socially dangerous act, forced safety and treatment measures were applied to him,” said.
A criminal case was initiated under articles “Especially malicious hooliganism”, “intentional destroying of property with a hassleant method” and “illegal actions against objects affecting the action of which is based on the use of flammable funds.”
Bottle with a combustible substance was thrown into the entrance door of the Mogilev Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs at night. As a result of the incident, no one was injured.
In Belarus, from August last year, mass protests continued with the demand from the resignation of President Alexander Lukashenko and holding new elections.
