At the same time, the head of the regulator explained that the Central Bank is ready to discuss the topic with expanding access to bank secrecy, but not to the level that will provoke client escape.
Member of the Communist Party of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Yuri Sinelchikov recalled that the prosecutors could not receive information about accounts when dealing with corruption and outflow of capital abroad, countering extremism and terrorism, protect the rights of investors and borrowers. According to him, the Communists made a corresponding bill twice, but it was rejected.
However, Nabiullina noticed that, for a number of questions, prosecutors have access to bank secrets, as well as law enforcement agencies. The head of the Central Bank stressed that Article 26 of the Law on Banking Secret has a sufficient amount of seizures.
Also during the Nabiullin report, promised to continue to “twist nuts” to achieve conscientious behavior from the participants of the financial market.
