“Meeting in Geneva instills a little hope of all world politics,” Parmelen said after meeting with Biden. He also added that he hoped for progress in relations between Russia and the United States after the upcoming summit, and also noticed that Geneva had “excellent contacts” with Moscow, in which the president particularly appreciates sincerity.
Meeting of the Presidents of Russia and the United States will be held on June 16 in the capital of Switzerland on Villa La Gruna. The parties are expected to discuss bilateral relations, strategic stability and international agenda, including cooperation in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic and the settlement of regional conflicts. In the negotiations will be attended by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs – the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry Sergey Lavrov and US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, as well as five more officials.
