Russia has become one of the main suppliers of goods to the European Union country, follows from the data published on the website of the Agency Eurostat.
From January to April 2021, the volume of Russian exports to the EU countries amounted to 42.5 billion euros, which puts the country to third place in the list of leading suppliers of association, after China and the United States.
For the first four months, the volume of Russian exports to the EU increased by 12.4 percent – against 37.8 billion euros for the same period last year.
In turn, the volume of imports to Russia from the European Union countries in January-April amounted to 27.8 billion euros, which exceeds last year’s figure by 7.3 percent.
