In 2022, in Russia, the minimum wage (minimum wage) will grow by 6.4 percent – up to 13.6 thousand rubles. It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the representative of the press service of the Ministry of Labor.
“According to the preliminary estimate, the minimum wage in 2022 will amount to 13,617 rubles,” clarified in the department. Mrometa is 42 percent of the median wage, calculated by Rosstat. Median salary is the size of wages, more or less than half the country’s working citizens.
According to Rosstat estimates, the median average monthly salary in the Russian economy for 2020 is estimated at 32,422 rubles. The indicator was first calculated on a new method: based on the pension fund data on the accrued insurance premiums with wages.
As for the subsistence minimum, they pointed out in the Mintrude, it will be 11,950 rubles. “For the working-age population – 13,026 rubles, for children – 11,592 rubles, and for pensioners – 10,277 rubles,” added to the ministry.
The cost of living is used to assess the need of citizens in providing such support measures and state social assistance.
