The countries of the European Union have agreed to weaken travel restrictions inside the block: Europeans who received vaccination will be allowed to travel freely by those parts of the EU where to be safely. This is reported by Reuters.
Representatives of 27 EU countries agreed to modify the proposal of the European Commission that, within 14 days after complete vaccination, citizens are allowed to move freely between European countries. Additional rules within this framework will be established depending on what level of epidemiological hazard is observed in a particular country.
For the movement, Europeans will require documents that confirm that they have gained vaccinations or sort and have a sufficient amount of antibodies to the virus. It is reported that about every fourth adult EU resident has already received vaccination.
Earlier it was reported that the European Parliament approved the introduction of a “vaccine passport” – a digital certificate, which confirms the vaccination against coronavirus.
