First victims of tests of American hypersonic weapons

Future tests of the AGM-183A Air-Launched Rapid Rapid Response Weapon (ARRW) Rocket (ARRW) will provoke the death of four snails and up to 90 mollusks on the Kwajalein atoll in the southern Pacific. The DRIVE calls the possible first victims of the tests of the American weapon, referring to the Ministry of Nuclear Weapons Center of the Air Force (Air Force) of the United States located on the Kirtland Air Base in New Mexico.

In addition to snails and mollusks, from the tests of AGM-183A ARRW may suffer, in particular, more than one hundred humpbar and over 10 thousand colonies of corals. According to the publication, this may occur due to the appearance of shock waves arising from the collision of the rocket with the atoll.

The appearance of an appropriate report in The Drive is explained by the fact that the Pentagon, being the world’s largest consumer of fuel, is concerned about the environment.

In March, British Tabloid Daily Express wrote that the Hyperzovy Cold Winged Rocket AGM-183A ARRW, launched, for example, from the US B-52H Stratofortress Bombarder, is able to strike in Moscow for less than 20 minutes, and in half an hour – to achieve Beijing .

In November 2020, the DRIVE edition reported that the AGM-183A ARRW will fly at an average speed of 6.5 to 8 MAKH numbers to a distance of hundreds of kilometers, that is, a distance of 1000 miles (more than 1600 kilometers) a rocket overcome for 10 -12 minutes.

In June 2019, B-52H Stratofortress made the first flight with a hypersonic aerobalistic rocket AGM-183A ARRW.
