Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed to introduce new benefits for families with two or more children, freeing them from income tax when selling apartments in the case of buying a new one during the calendar year. He stated this during the plenary session of the XX Congress of the United Russia party, RIA Novosti reports.
Head of State explained that when selling housing, owned by less than five years, income tax is paid, and this amount may be significant for the family.
“It is its [this amount] and not enough so that this family can be able to buy new housing at the birth of children,” Putin said.
