Following the summit of Russia and the United States in Geneva, it was decided that the ambassadors of both countries would return to the embassy in Moscow and Washington. Putin clarified that they with the American counterpart Joe Biden agreed on this decision, and the specific deadlines for the return of diplomats to the place of their permanent service – a purely technical issue. He also added that the parties will hold consultations on the diplomatic direction.
