Terra Tech, the subsidiary of the Russian Space Systems Holding Company (RCS, is included in the state corporation “Roscosmos”) and Promsvyazbank announce the start of the joint project on integrated space monitoring and the geospatial analysis of the Bank’s property assets. As part of the cooperation, a cloud geoinformational service was developed in the interests of PSB to monitor the collateral under construction and mortgage facilities and land.

Remote sensing land and services based on it are a new tool for Russian financial market companies. At the same time, the development of geospatial data analysis systems opens up ample opportunities for their use in the field of audit, banking, insurance, investment activities and consulting.

Deputy Director of the Administrative Organizational Department of PSB Aleksey Ragkin: “The use of cosmic monitoring will allow the Bank to solve several tasks at once – improve the quality of the assessment of borrowers and their projects, reduce the costs of underwriting and control the target use of credit funds, which results in effective risk management In the implementation of large infrastructure projects. PSB plans to expand the use of geo-information technologies in lending processes, project financing and management of property assets. “

PSB specialists due to the solution based on the remote sensing data of the Earth promptly receive the necessary information and analysts in the areas of construction and land use for making management and credit decisions, control the execution of the terms of the loan agreement and the target consumption of borrowed funds. Geoservice, which combines ultra-high resolution space images with information from the bank databases and external sources, is implemented as a web application and works on mobile devices.

One of the tasks that was solved as part of the project is space screening of land assets available to assess their potential from the point of view of the development. As a result of the work of geocervis, each site on the basis of a number of criteria received his score according to the degree of its prospects for residential building or construction of social infrastructure facilities.
