Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed with the American counterpart Joe Biden about the further fate of the Treaty on measures to further reduce and restrict strategic offensive armaments (DSNV, an unofficial name – START-3). This was reported to the Russian leader at a press conference following the results of the meeting with the President of the United States, the correspondent “Renta.Ru” reports.
Putin noted that consultations on the fate of START-3 will soon begin at the interdepartmental level.
The meeting of the Russian and American presidents was held on June 16 in Geneva at Villa La Grun. Leaders communicated for three and a half hours.
