Satellite Internet Speed Starlink reached a record mark, exceeding an indicator of 600 megabits per second. This is reported by the WCCFTECH edition.
Record indicator – 649 megabits per second – fixed in its twitter Blogger from Germany under the Nick AWLNX . According to him, the Internet network Starlink scored a record speed on June 15 at 20:45 local time. This is more than 100 megabits per second exceeds the record speed of Ilona Mask, achieved in the USA.
However, due to high speed, the delay time has increased – approximately 56 milliseconds. This is not enough to effectively transfer data during video conferencing and online games. Also, the user from Germany said that when the record speed was reached, its terminal for receiving the signal, located on the street, was heated to 56 degrees. At the same time, the air temperature was 35 degrees.
Previous Starlink speed record was also fixed in Germany. The local user received the speed of downloading data at the level of 560 megabit per second, the delay was 13 milliseconds.
Previously, Starlink users from the USA said that the receivers located on the street were strongly heated under summer heat and disconnected. This happens when the temperature of the satellite plate is 50 degrees and above.
