Foreign Minister of Belgium Sophie Vilmes reported in his Twitter -AktTer, which met and held talks with Former presidential candidate Svetlana Tikhanovskaya.
The meeting was held on Sunday, June 20, on the eve of the meeting of the foreign ministers of the European Union countries, which will be held in Luxembourg on Monday, June 21.
“Belgium supports the Belarusian people in their struggle for a democratic society without violence,” Wilmes wrote. The head of the Belgian Foreign Ministry recalled that the European Union also supports Belarusians and is preparing to introduce sanctions against responsible persons in this country.
As reports RIA Novosti with reference to the EU representative, during the meeting in Luxembourg, Belarus will become one of the main topics of discussion. It will be preceded by a breakfast of European ministers with Svetlana Tikhanovskaya.
On the eve, Tikhanovskaya predicted the care of the Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko this year. “We must seek all the prisoners this year, and in order to have new elections this year,” she explained.
Previously, Tikhanovskaya announced the “Peremenog” plan (“victory”), which is to create a chat bot to coordinate opposition actions. According to her, Chat Bot will allow in the future massively and at the same time send notifications about specific actions in order to combat Lukashenko for the “restoration of legality in the country.”
In Belarus, mass protests continued for more than six months after the presidential election on August 9, 2020. The reason for them was charged with falsifications when conducting voting.
