China is engaged in the introduction of artificial intelligence systems (AI) into manned fighters, which turns the latter in partially or completely unmanned aerial vehicles (CAP), tells the American edition of The Drive.
In the publication drew attention to the picture of one of the airbase in the PRC, on which the fourth-generation fighter J-16 is noticeable among drones, which is a distant clone of the SU-27 Soviet aircraft and its derivatives. The publication assumes that J-16 could get a system of AI as a second pilot, which allowed him to manage the driven UAVs, or become a full-fledged drone.
The Drive reminds, currently in the United States is implemented a similar program that called Skyborg, which, compared with Chinese, is known much more.
In July, Breaking Defense wrote that the Navy of the People’s Flat Army of China made another step towards the elimination of the latest advantages of the US naval forces, receiving a new deck stealth fighter, known as J-35, writes Breaking Defense. The American publication notes that officials from Washington have caused concern new J-35 pictures, which appeared on the network, where the Chinese aircraft is located next to the aircraft carrier.
