In State Duma, they talked about way to reduce prices on Soviet system

State Duma Deputy Vera Ganzya told about the way to reduce prices in Russia on the Soviet system. She told about it in an interview with the radio station “says Moscow.”

Ganzya noted that it should be returned to the Soviet system not only in price regulation, but also for other very important key government positions. She stressed that the example of the USSR is not the worst and need to strive for price regulation, in which the cost of goods is reduced, and does not grow.

Parliamentaria added that retail sales and manufacturers should be studied, as well as “curb their appetites.” When trying to regulate the enterprise, they are trying not to sell goods for some time, change profile or consider more promising markets abroad, she explained.

At the same time, Ganzya called “immoral” rising prices for essential goods and called on business representatives to learn how to restrain their appetites.

Earlier, President of Miratorg company Viktor Linnik warned that the freezing of prices for products in general strategically does not give any benefit. “In this case, this is a tactical decision, [it] is associated with the situation on COVID, with force majeure,” he said. However, according to a Russian businessman, if the motivation of manufacturers will restrict, they will have an incentive to modernize. As a solution to the problem, he suggested supporting the layers of the population, “which really need to help”, for example, through “various product certificates.”
