The new President of Ecuador Guillermo Lasso has been hung at a meeting with Russian colleague Vladimir Putin. It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Latin American Country Mauricio Montalvo.
According to him, during the negotiations with the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry Sergey Lavrov, he expressed the readiness of Ecuador “to rapprochement with the best intentions, in the spirit of openness, for the development of mutually beneficial projects.”
Montalvo added that Lasso is most located for a trip to Russia and a meeting with Putin, if such a visit is agreed. “We are pleased and to a certain extent we are proud that Ecuador is at such a level of trade relations with Russia,” he said.
