Zakharov accused EU in “shelf” differ from LGBT countries

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharov accused the European Union (EU) in the “shelf” of countries that differ from the European majority. With his opinion she shared in Telegram.

So, she commented on the EU attitude to the new law of Hungary, prohibiting the propaganda of LGBT in schools. Zakharov saw in such a policy a contradiction of the main slogan of the European Association – “Consent (Unity) in diversity.” The representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted that European Grande’s internal cases began to climb in the internal affairs of Budapest, “such as the Netherlands Prime Minister Mark Rutte and French President Emmanuel Macron.

“But it is in the EU documents: give everyone to be unity in diversity, in Varietate Concordia! Why put in one rank of those who do not want to give up the centuries of those who have created ideas about a person? They are called imperpressive. But progress – This is an evolution toward the best. And if the road takes at all right there, from the point of view of millions? ” – wrote Zakharov. She concluded that “now in the EU it is customary to do different.”

Earlier it was reported that the EU authorities intend to fight the new law of Hungary, who prohibits the propaganda of LGBT. The head of the European Commission Ursula von der Lyien called the bill shameful and promised to use all the forces of the Commission to protect the rights of European citizens. She noted that the bill discriminates people on the basis of their sexual orientation and violates the basic principles of the European Association.

In mid-June, the Hungarian Parliament approved the law, according to which propaganda LGBT will be prohibited in schools and in educational programs. The prohibition of gay propaganda will affect organizations: Hungary will limit the list of those who are allowed to conduct sexual education lessons.
