Scientists from the University of Washington (USA) conducted a study by assessing the likelihood that by 2100 anyone could live to 120 years. The results of their work they have been published in the journal Demographic Research.
Specialists analyzed demographic predictions, statistics on the survival of the elderly, the latest information from the international database on longevity and predicted the life expectancy of a person in 79 years.
Scientists have disclosed that there is more than 99 percent probability that in this century people will live to 126-130 years old. The study showed that the likelihood note its 126th birthday is 89 percent, and 128th – 44 percent. According to experts, the 130th anniversary will meet 13 percent of the inhabitants of the planet.
