In Minsk detained grateful opposition to student’s diplomas

In Minsk detained a fourth year-year student of Julfak Belarusian State University (BSU), thanmed oppositionists in his speech at the presentation of diplomas. It is reported by the Human Rights Center “Spring”.

In the hostel, Catherine Vinnikova passed a search, her laptop was seized. The girl was interrogated for several hours in the police department, and the lawyer for interrogation was not allowed. Later she reported that she was waiting for a lawyer to sign the protocol.

In Belarus, mass protests continued in Belarus demanding the resignation of President Alexander Lukashenko and holding new elections. A number of opposition politicians and activists were arrested, others fled from the country. Western countries have imposed sanctions against the Belarusian authorities. Lukashenko claimed that there were external forces.
