In the “Union of Tajiks of Russia” they told where migrants issued from the country are sent. The head of the organization Abdullo Davlatov in a conversation with a radio station “says Moscow” reported that they rush to Europe, Saudi Arabia and South Korea.
“They work there in factors under Warsaw, I met the Tajiks in Dubai, who were expelled for violations of the residence regime. They in electronics stores [worked], sold, Tajiks were happy with pleasure,” he shared. Davlastov added that empty airplanes fly from Tajikistan to Russia, and the ticket price reaches 1.5 thousand dollars – and this is only one way.
With the shortage of labor, Russia faced against the background of the coronavirus pandemic. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in early March there was a shortage of 1.2 million workers. Some jobs at construction sites, for example, on the Bam and Transsib, were offered to replace prisoners. Another recent initiative is to attract no longer working pensioners to mobilize labor personnel in the Russian construction industry.
At the end of June, it became known that migrants would oblige a “loyalty agreement” at the entrance to Russia. Officially, this was explained by the need to inform a foreign citizen about the rules of entry into Russia, departure from it, bringing to work on its territory, as well as on established restrictions, prohibitions and consequences of their violation.
