Dalai Lama XIV Tenzin Giaso can be reborn “in the free world” and “in the body of a woman.” About this RIA Novosti told his honorary representative in Russia, CIS countries and Mongolia, Supreme Lama Kalmykia Tel Tulku Rinpoche.
He explained that this could happen if the situation in Tibet remains unchanged and the Dalai Lama will leave the refugee status. “It is quite logical that it will be reborn outside Tibet,” he added.
At the same time, Rinpoche recalled that the 86-year-old leader Buddhist spoke about the intention to live to 113 years.
Previously, Gyaco said that it may be reborn in India, where he lived in exile for 60 years. He added that any of his successor, which the Chinese authorities will be chosen, will not deserve respect.
In 2019, Dalai Lama ordered to be reborn by Chinese laws. The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China Lou Kang said that “the reincarnation of living Buddhas, including Dalai Lama, must comply with state laws and religious rituals.”
Dalai Lama XIV Tenzin Gyaco was born on Tibet in 1935. In 1937, he was recognized as the reincarnation of the previous Dalai Lama, in the 1940s he was erected to the throne. In 1989, Dalai Lama received the Nobel Peace Prize for educational and peacekeeping activities.
