Development of the economy and strengthening human rights in Central America will allow the United States to overcome the mass flow of migrants to its territory. “This is stated in the strategy to combat the root causes of migration in Central America,” published on the site of the White House.
It reports that the US President Joe Bayden and Vice President Camala Harris chose the elimination of the migration problem “humane and fair” ways. In addition to the voiced items, the strategy of the White House includes: eliminating economic inequality, the fight against corruption, the development of democratic institutions, the destruction of organized crime and the fight against sexual and domestic violence in Central America. All these measures will be directed to Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala.
In the explanatory note, Biden-Harris strategy refers to the success of the successes in immigration policy. Thus, by decree of the vice-president, $ 3,10 million were allocated from the US budget to eliminate the effects of natural disasters in these countries. In addition, the United States provided El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras over 10 million doses of vaccine against COVID-19. Washington also established a non-profit organization for the development of the private sector of Central America, to which 12 companies joined 750 million dollars to help 13 million people.
Earlier, the US Department of Internal Security decided to resume the accelerated deportation of illegal migrants. The department stressed that this is a legitimate procedure that corresponds to the “ordered and humane” immigration policy of the White House.
