The head of the corporation noted that the new module will allow to expand the possibilities of docking Russian ships from the ISS, including the new “Orel” “Lunar” ship.
Previously, a multifunctional laboratory module (MLM) “Science” successfully dashed to the Russian segment of the ISS. On it, “Science” took the place of the Pierce module, which, with the help of the MS-16 transport ship, was reflected from the Russian station segment on July 26.
