NASA moved launch of Starliner to ISS due to situation with “science”

NASA decided to transfer the Starliner ship scheduled for Friday to the International Space Station (ISS) due to the situation with a multifunctional laboratory module (MLM) “Science”. It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the American Space Agency on Thursday.

previously “Roskosmos” commented on the unplanned engines on the module. As explained in the company, at the moment there is a process for transfering a module from the flight regime to “docked with the ISS” mode. “Works with fuel residues in the module,” the press service reported.

MLM docked to the ISS on July 29. On the ISS “Science” took the place of the Pierce module, which, with the help of the MS-16 Progress Cargo Ship, was reflected from the Russian station segment on July 26.
