Engines of Russian “Science” are unplanned on ISS

In the multifunctional laboratory module (MLM), the “Science” multifunctional laboratory module (MMS) “Science” is unplanned, the engines are unplanned, RIA Novosti reports, referring to the negotiations of cosmonauts with the center of preventing flights (PCU).

“I can confirm that the engines still work, and we can feel it,” said Oleg Novitsky, who is located on the ISS.

According to NASA, due to the inclusion of “Science” engines, the ISS has changed its position in space.

Currently, engines “Science” do not work.

MLM docked to the ISS on July 29. On the ISS “Science” took the place of the Pierce module, which, with the help of the MS-16 Progress Cargo Ship, was reflected from the Russian station segment on July 26.
