In Amur region, all fragments of “Soyuz-2.1b” launch vehicle were found and exported

Specialists of the group of exploitation of areas of the fall of the Space Center “Eastern” (branch of the operating center of the ground-based space infrastructure, is included in the state corporation “Roscosmos”) completely cleared the Zeysky district of the Amur region from the first stage of the Soyuz-2.1b missile fragment, launch which took place on July 1, 2021 with the eastern cosmodrome.

After collecting the parts of the side blocks in five monitoring points, the necessary samples were taken and the result was obtained confirming that all environmental indicators are normal. Further, more than 380 fragments found were delivered to the cosmodrome and sent for storage.

Consisting on July 1, the launch of the “Soyuz-2.1b” carrier missile with 36 new satellites of OneWeb – the tenth in a row from the new Russian cosmodrome East.
