In Lithuania, the locals held a protest share against accommodating camp for illegal migrants in Lithuania. It is reported by “Sputnik Lithuania”.
Earlier, in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Latvia, they stated that by September 1, several hundred illegal immigals would be arranged in the building of the former school in Nosnishkes. Local residents opposed and noticed that the migrant camp is planning to organize a few dozen meters from the current school.
Protesters also came to support the member of the Seima Petras Growjulis. According to him, the Minister of Internal Affairs Agnei Celebrate the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Foreign Ministry) of Lithuania Gabrielus Landsbergis from the Tribunes of Parliament said that, together with refugees, prepared terrorists fall into the country, creating a threat of state and citizens. Growjulis noted that such a situation is very concerned about citizens who close in homes and are afraid to go out.
Earlier, the Lithuanian police dispersed protesters against the construction of a camp for illegal migrants at the Military Polygon Rudninkai. It is noted that during the rally, people blocked the road to the place of construction of the tent town and refused to miss construction equipment.
July 28, in the State Border Guard, Lithuania announced a record number of illegal immigrants detained this year. According to the border guards, in 24 hours they managed to catch 171 migrants, illegally crossed by the Belarusian-Lithuanian border.
