According to the results of the meeting, Washington announced its commitment to reducing the risks of armed conflicts and nuclear war. July 29, the United States will inform allies on NATO on the results of negotiations with Russia. The parties agreed on a new meeting in September 2021. Before that, informal consultations on strategic stability will be held between them.
“Discussions in Geneva were professional and subject,” the head of the press service of the State Department of the State Department was described as follows. The parties discussed current issues in the field of strategic safety and opportunities for “new control over nuclear weapons”.
