Lukashenko offered to lead Russian Party

President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, was offered to lead the Russian ecological party “Green”. This was stated by the head of the political force Andrei Nagibin, reported in the Telegram-channel “Sputnik near abroad.”

He noted that he is ready to give his post to the Belarusian leader as soon as the process of the formation of the Union State is fully completed.

On July 27, Lukashenko declared the desire to head the Green Party. According to the Belarusian president, he could stand at the head of that ecological party, which sincerely and truly protects nature.

Earlier, the Belarusian leader proposed to develop an integration strategy with Russia within the framework of the Allied State until 2030. He noted that the Union of the two countries is the value that needs to convey to future generations.

In 2019, when initially planned to complete the integration, a number of protests were held against deepening cooperation with Russia. Then Lukashenko repeatedly declared the need to conduct multi-vector policies and build an independent country. He regularly complied with the “Imperial Spaspie” of Russia, criticizing the project of integration within the framework of the Allied State. The performances continued until the presidential elections in August 2020, when mass protests against Lukashenko regime began.
