US President Joe Biden considered that Washington should cooperate with Moscow and Beijing, although they are rivals and competitors for the American side. This is reported by TASS.
According to the American leader, the world changes significantly. Therefore, it is very important that the United States worked closely with partners and allies to maintain technological advantages, strengthen supply chains, ensure that the rules that regulate technologies supported democracy, and not autocracy.
“At the same time, we must work in collaboration with countries such as China and Russia, which are opponents [USA], possibly fatal rivals in the future,” said Biden.
As an example of areas where the interests of these states coincide, Biden led to a change in climate change. He stressed that this common threat affects all countries. “This is a strategic question, as well as the issue of the environment,” he concluded.
Previously, Biden stated that Russia already makes attempts to interfere with the interim election of 2022 in the United States. He referred to some exploration data, according to which Russia already supposedly spreads false information and is trying to influence the process of the upcoming vote.
