On the eve of the cargo ship “Progress MS-16” with the Pierce module, the Russian segment of the ISS was minted from the “Star” module of the International Space Station. Low at night, experts from the flight control center studied the docking node of the outfit port of the service module, where the multipurpose laboratory module is planned to be labeled. As a result of the analysis, the absence of mechanical interference for docking was stated. Thus, the readiness of the docking units for the planned docking “science” is confirmed, and unscheduled output to open space is not required.
