In the children’s boarding school of the Board of Trustees of the Lambeta in London, there were cases of violence, including sexuality, over hundreds of children from 1960 to 2000. This is reported in the independent investigation report of sexual violence against children (IICSA).
The investigation put forward charges of sexual and physical violence against 529 employees of London boarding schools. In one of the institutions – Shirley-Oaks – 177 former employees received accusations. The base was the complaints of 705 former residents, while the exact number of victims is unknown. For 40 years, the Board of Trustees dismissed only one employee accused of sexual harassment.
During this time, the boarding school in Shirley-Oaks managed to mark the violent death of one of his ward. The child codenamed La A2 was found dead in the bathroom in 1977. Then the Lambtaic Council hid from Koroner (investigator for unusual deaths in the UK – approx. “Lental.ru”) that the boy was sexually violence from the director of the boardingal – Donald Housse. Public hearings on this particular case decided to convey the investigation into the London Police to find out the circumstances of the child’s death.
“These children became pawn in a poisonous game of power inside the Lambeta Council, which London officials covered,” said Professor Alexis Jones, Chairman of an independent investigation. According to her, internal investigations of crimes in the boarding schools were not conducted, because the higher members of the Board of Trustees were engaged in the “political struggle” for power and subsidies from the budget. According to the results of public hearings, the Board of Trustees of the Lambta recommended to improve the approach to the selection and verification of staff and adoptive parents.
In July 2021, Pedophile Ismael Dario Loper was detained in Colombia, who raised the pupils of the kindergarten of the city of Medellin for years. He worked as an assistant in the kitchen and for 3 years at his office raped 21 children. Each of them was less than four years.
