According to the publication, the Government of Guatemala in April paid about $ 80 million for 8 million doses of vaccine. However, still the country received only 150 thousand doses of the drug.
The Russian direct investment fund answered that deliveries are expected soon. “Another aircraft with a” satellite V “should arrive in Guatemala this week, the next – already at the beginning of the next week,” said the Director of Special Projects of the RFPI Gleb Bryansk.
“I met with a representative of the Russian Foundation for direct investment by Vladimir Primakov. We expressed our concern and stressed the urgency of obtaining larger parties,” said Guatemala Foreign Minister.
In April, Guatemala purchased a batch of Russian vaccine from Coronavirus “Satellite V”. According to the president, the country paid 50 percent of the purchase price and expected the supply of eight million doses of the drug in the next 15 days. In total, the Government of Guatemala decided to purchase 16 million units of a two-component drug.
