Germany and Italy completed the conclusion of troops from Afghanistan after an almost twenty-year stay in the country along with the US Army and other international forces. This was reported in the ministries of defense of the two countries, the Daily Sabah newspaper reports.
German Defense Minister Annegeret Kramp Carrenbauer thanked in twitter 150 thousand participants of the Afghan military campaign and expressed Condolences to relatives of the dead. “Suitable by the end of a whole chapter in history, which challenged the Bundeswehr and significantly influenced its formation, including in battles,” she stressed.
Italian Defense Minister Lorenzo Gueryni also stated that the conclusion of the country’s troops from Afghanistan ended. He noted that the help of Rome Afghan authorities does not end. “It will continue in other forms, from strengthening and developing cooperation to support the Afghan Republican Institutions,” the minister said.

The official conclusion of the US Troops and NATO countries from the Afghan territories began on May 1 and will last until September 11, although actually the troops began to withdraw back in April.
