On the Baikonur cosmodrome, a meeting of the technical manual for the implementation of the program of integrated testing of the Space Head of the Multipurpose Laboratory Module “Science” was held in the installation and test case No. 254. Following the meeting, it was decided to admit a module to filling operations.
In accordance with the schedule of work at the filling station of the site number 31 Specialists of the Rocket and Space Corporation “Energy” named after S.P. The queen (part of the state corporation “Roscosmos”) and profile enterprises of Roskosmos will charge the module with fuel components and compressed gases. After completion of filling operations, the cosmic head part will be delivered to the universal technical complex of the site No. 92 for docking with the third stage of the Proton-M carrier rocket.
Multipurpose laboratory module “Science” – a research module of the Russian segment of the International Space Station, developed by the RKK “Energy” named after S.P. Queen together with the GKNPTS named after M.V. Khrunichev in order to expand the functionality of the Russian segment of the ISS.
