The Russian authorities have used the domestic metallurgists, which the First Deputy Prime Minister Andrey Belousov accused of “fattening” states per 100 billion rubles. For their products, export duties have been introduced, reported on the government website.
Duties will act from August 1 to December 31 of this year. They will consist of two parts: a base rate of 15 percent and a specific component, which will be calculated in dollars per ton.
The size of such a component will be $ 1226 per ton for copper, 2321 dollar per ton for nickel and 254 dollars – for aluminum. Also, duties are provided for ore concentrate (with a specific component at 54 dollars per ton), flat hot rolled rolled and reinforcement ($ 115), cold-rolled rolled and wire (133 dollars) and stainless steel and ferryrsolov (150 dollars).
It is planned that the establishment of duties will allow stabilize prices in the domestic market. Total authorities expect a budget replenishment in the amount of 160 billion rubles in five months. At the same time, it is emphasized that export duties should not be treated as a method for collecting taxes from metallurgical companies.
In May, the First Deputy Prime Minister Andrey Belousov said that the metallurgists “ground” the state is about 100 billion rubles due to the successful world market opportuncture and that this amount must be recovered in favor of the budget.
