RKN “Soyuz-2.1B” is ready for export on East spaceport

On the Eastern Cosmodrome, a meeting of the State Commission on Conducting File Tests for the Research Affairs of Space Affairs on readiness for exporting to the starting complex and carrying out work on preparing for the launch of the Soyuz-2.1b missile was under the OneWeb program (Mission No. 48).

According to the results of the reports, the State Commission decided to export spacecraft rockets from the installation and test case and a vertical position at the starting complex on June 28, 2021. The start of transportation works on the starting complex is scheduled at 01:00 Moscow time (07:00 on the local), after which the specialists of the state corporation “Roskosmos” will begin work on the schedule of the first starting day. On Saturday and Sunday, there will be active preparation for the reception of the rocket of space.

The launch of 36 spacecraft of OneWeb is scheduled for July 1, 2021 at 15:48 Moscow time. It will be the fifth Full Commercial Start from the Russian Cosmodrome Eastern, implemented under the Glavkosmos Contracts (part of the Roscosmos State Corporation) with the European Provider of Arianespace Start Services (Operator of the OneWeb Space Actors using the Soyuz Wearer Rocket) and Starsem for OneWeb From this cosmodrome.
