Currently, the whole world is seriously engaged in the technology of the underwater war, in particular, the issues of detecting submarine. The main vulnerability of Russian and foreign submarines TASS called the supervisor of the “Krylovsky State Scientific Center” (KGNT) Valery Polovinkin.
According to him, among about 42 manifestations of the physical properties of the ship at one of the first places in the studies and in the implementation of the following fields.
“due to the fact that they are unlike other, hydrodynamic, electromagnetic, and so on, have a long life. That is, we are talking about the fact that the trace remains observed up to 20 hours,” said the specialist.
The scientific leader of the KSHC added that at present, the detection of submarines on the tracks of the tracks is ahead of their protection.
According to half the city, the submarine of the future will act as a carrier of the starting position. “The boat came out, put the starting position of his weapons, and left. And the positions are remotely managed, and as the signal is needed, any – sound-powered communications, radio communications – it does not matter, gives a start signal of weapons from these separated starting positions,” said specialist.
According to him, the modern form of the submarine is not optimal from the point of view of classical science, but is due to the existing technological capabilities. “Today we have suggestions for changing the form of submarines. It’s closer to a flat cross section, but not in the form of the cylinder, which we have,” said Polovinkin.
In July 2019, the scientific director of the KSR said that Russia began to develop and introduce a method for detecting a submarine for left by it when moving in water trail from working screws.
