Australian scientists will develop a vaccine from COVID-19 in the form of a spray: they have already begun the first phase of clinical tests of the drug. This is stated on the Sydney University website.
We are talking about a preparation created using the SARS-COV2 DNA: this is the development of the Australian Technovalia company in conjunction with partners from Bionet. The vaccine is entered by a device without a needle using an inkjet spray. Spray will penetrate the skin under high pressure, it must stimulate the response of the immune system.
In the US, this sprayer is used for vaccination against influenza.
In the first phase of tests, 150 volunteers are participating. All of them will get two doses of vaccine with an interval of 30 days.
In Russia, clinical trials of the vaccine against COVID-19 and influenza should begin: the drug will be in the form of spray and introduced through the nose. This considers the possibility of receiving the drug sublingual – under the tongue. It is planned that the vaccine will need to be added twice with an interval in two weeks.
